In May 2020, in the middle of the Covid Era, a new collective was born. Specialized in interior design. Devoted to art and spirituality.

VGO Associates, based in the South of France, was born from the idea of the curator Valentina Guidi Ottobri: its goal is to interact differently with the objects and spaces that populate our daily lives.

In a world that has everything, where things and words accumulate, the association proposes a new form of Animism to give life to spiritual objects and develop new spaces for the soul in a process that brings an anthropological relevance in reworking discoveries and beliefs, making them global and shareable.

Our home is like a shell. It is into this shell that we retreat. The question is: How do we best experience this place? What are the modes of interaction between us and the objects that surround us?

In this context, the objects of VGO Associates are functional sculptures that become symbols of a metaphysical theater in which rituality and poetry are the new keys to interaction. The goal is to shift the point of view from the exterior to the interior, reconnecting us with our true nature, our sensations, our visions, our true goals.

VGO Associates is a community of people, ideas, and beliefs. We believe that in addition to techniques and materials, what denotes the quality of a project is the vision and cultural exchange that stimulates and enriches us.

Members are freethinkers, designers, artists, master craftsmen, enlightened companies, as well as mediums and practitioners of various holistic disciplines who help define the basis for each project.

VGO Associates fosters new collaborative practices with a program of 4 Residencies per year that celebrate the seasons and bring together creatives and luminaries from different fields, nationalities, and cultures. Each invitee arrives with a workshop to share with the rest of the group. Eight participants are selected for each residency based on their proposal.
